Barcode scanner function on the N82

My nephew played with my N82 yesterday when he was over. He asked me how to use the barcode scanner function that came with it. I told him i dont know as all i saw on the screen is something going from left to right, right to left, left to right, continuously. It doesnt seem to be able to read nor capture anything. Formatted my PC…. again

I formatted my PC again last night. I dont know what caused its demise. I could have been anything. Anyway, it's like a virgin now and i have to reinstall the zillions of softwares and drivers i need for my work @#$%^&*(. Now, i cant even play Farmville with my Firefox browser as it keeps popping up some windows asking me to install some dunno wat files. It's still stuck even after i've allowed it and wouldnt finish loading, cheh. Have to use Flock for my Facebook again. My friend told me she just added a video card after seeing some great deals on video cards online. She was hoping it can help improve her gameplay, lol. Honestly, it wont lah. Ways to kill time

My SIL was wondering how i can spend everyday at my kid's school without getting bored to death. Well, there are lots of ways to keep myself busy. Next on my list is this all inclusive vacation. I have a friend who worked on a cruise liner before for more than ten years. She's worked on a Caribbean Cruise Liner and told me if i have the budget, then i must go on one. The Caribbean is one of the best destination for romantic getaways. If you were to ask me, i'd love to go on a Cruise Liner provided my kids are not along. I dont think they'll enjoy being stuck on a ship, lol. I think i'll be pretty paranoid if one of them just wants to jump into the sea. Terrifying thought, eh.My brother was a sailor and i've seen lots of pics of him holidaying on a Cruise Liner with his wife. That was such a long time ago and Cruise Liners are more luxurious now. Jamaican Family Vacation Packages

I guess my friends must have my blog on their newsfeed. If not, how come they know what i post so fast, right. I told you earlier i got another email coming in. This is from another blog buddy of mine. She just sent me an email telling me about these affordable discount vacation packages. She went on one before and even attached some cool pics of her family vacation. Being a parent herself, she understands how important it is to have the kids along on vacations. She told me she went to Australia once with her hubby and regretted it. She missed her kids for the whole five days they were there. Each time she called home, she can hear them crying over the phone. how heart-wrenching, huh.I tell you, if i were to go on a vacation and i call back home only to hear my kids crying over the phone, i think i'll just want to end my vacation and fly back home. That's why she says these all inclusive family vacations are just right for people with kids. In a way, i fully agree with her. My kids are bigger and i believe they will behave better now. Jamaican Holidays

A friend read my previous post and told me about Negril Jamaica and Runaway Bay Jamaica. Both these are all inclusive vacation packages. Jamaican holidays sounds exotic to me. Anyone here been to Jamaica before? I'm in no hurry to book now but i want to plan in advance. If possible i want to take the kids along with me. Though i'd love to leave them behind with my in-laws, i know i'll be thinking of them all the time. So, might as well take them along with me. They are bigger and much easier to care for now. Unlike last time when Malcolm was still a clingy baby.When the boys were younger, i really didnt feel like going anywhere with them. Planning A Vacation?

Chinese New Year is almost over. Tomorrow is Chap Goh Mei already, fast eh. For me, CNY is well and over with the day school reopened after the long hols. I didnt enjoy my holidays this year as i was sick. Was down with a bad cough, cold, sore throat yadda yadda. I even had to go to the hospital on the first day of Chinese New Year. I got better at the start of this week but now, i can feel the beginning of another bout of bad cough coming my way. I blame it fully on the hot weather. Just hope the kids dont catch it from me. Gordon cant afford to miss school as the first term exam is just round the corner. I have to spend the whole of next week helping him with his homework. Hubby has gone back to KL and wont be back this weekend. It's our wedding anniversary and he has to be away. Well, we have a short school break after the first term school exam. I'm going to get him to take me on a vacation to some faraway Breezes Resorts to celebrate our wedding anniversary, lol. It's almost 2pm. I still have another two hours to finish up my work. The kids are playing with their Megabloks set. I bought them a set with more than 100 blocks so that they fight less over who has more blocks to build with. Kids are kids. They fight over everything. Be it toys, food or tv. Pottery Is A Good Hobby For Kids

It's another long weekend again. The kids are asking me to take them over to their Grandma's this evening. I may do that but Gordon has tuition from 4 to 6pm. Let's see how things go after i'm done with updating my blogs. I have lots of posts to publish and i intend to get them done by 2pm. That'll leave me free to do what i want in the evening. They are busy playing with their toys now and wont bug me for the next few hours. It's not easy to come up with activities that can keep them occupied for long hours at one time. They are bored with their toys already. I do rotate their toys once every two weeks so that they dont play with the same thing over and over again. I guess it's time to buy new toys or get them interested in a hobby now that they are bigger. A friend recommended i let them have a go at pottery. Both my kids are sleeping and snoring away behind me as i'm typing this out now. I make them go to bed as early as 9pm. Gordon has to wake up early at around 8.30am for tuition at 9am. As for Malcolm, he's still half a baby at 3.5 years old and lots of sleep will do him good. I feel that Malaysian schoolkids are so sleep deprived these days. I see so many kids at Gordon's school sporting panda eyes each day. Must be due to the amount of homework the teachers give them each day. So stressful for the kids. I'm really tired today. I blame it fully on the weather. It's freaking hot. I can feel the intense heat even though i'm seated inside my bedroom. I have a strong feeling my electricity bill will skyrocket this month. May even hit 500 bucks as it's also Chinese New Year and everyone is home with most of the fans and lights on all day and all night long. What to do…. pay lorrrr. In a way, i'm glad that school has restarted. As i'm away from home most of the time, i save a bit on the electricity bill as i turn my bedroom's master switch off. I'm also paranoid about people leaving electrical appliances on standby when not in use. A waste of money.I gotta save as much as i can as i have planned to do some light remodeling to the house. I want to have a big awning installed at the porch area to cut down on the heat coming into the house. Moreover, it'll do my new car good next time. Chinese New Year is one of the hottest time of the year. This evening, the sky turned a dark shade of gray and i thought it's going to rain. Unfortunately, it didnt. It hasnt rained in more than a week. Everyone in my family is either down with cough or cold. I think hubby's the only one who's not sick. Bought the Perodua Alza!!!

By around this time next year, i'll have to start hunting for the best car insurance deal when it's time to renew my car insurance. I finally went and bought myself a car yesterday. It's nothing fancy, and definitely not the MINI. After test driving a few cars, hubby and i decided that the Perodua Alza suits us best. We can now travel out-station safely and in peace whenever we like. I'll be driving it most of the time as hubby doesnt need a car when he's down in KL. He stays with a friend who drives him everywhere. I told him to drive more as he needs to know the roads in KL when we go down there on weekends.The saleslady told us we may have to wait a couple of months to get our car. Not that i mind as i'll use the time to make more money online. Who knows, i might just stumble onto something that'll make me a lot of money like last year. I can then pay off my car loan super fast. The Perodua Alza is quite a cool car actually. The extra seats at the back means we can now invite the old folks along with us when we go out. And when folded down, it's so spacious that i wont whine about the lack of space when we go shopping next time, lol. As for the color of the car, we chose silver as there are far too many white ones on the road already.
