As a fulltime blogger, i have to keep myself abreast of all the latest web developments. Though i may not be able to keep track of everything that all the SEO gurus teach, at least i try to implement what i've learnt from them to see what works best for me. Are you in Christmas mood yet? I know, it’s only November, but that doesnt mean i cant start thinking of Christmas, right. We were ath the mall last Saturday, and we walked past a shop selling Christmas trees. See, people are putting up Christmas display items already. I just told hubby to earn more money so that we can buy a house and put up a huge Christmas tree in the living hall. As i live with my in-laws, i dont think they’ll allow us to do that. I hate long fingernails. I cant mine being long. They will cut into my palms when i close my hand. They get in the way when i type. And i type lightning fast. Malcolm found my Sony Retractable headsets which i bought sometime back and had fun playing with it. I had to wrestle it from him as he may just break them. Those may not be expensive headsets, but they sure are comfortable and fits Gordon too. Once in a while, i let him listen to it on his PSP. Too bad i've just banned him from playing the PSP as he threw it on the floor the other day in a fit of anger. Lucky i bought a hard casing for it and that saved it from breaking. He most likely wont get to hold it in his hands for at least a week.The memory stick that came with the PSP is only a small 2Gb one. I may want to buy another memory stick as i want to convert some of my kids' favorite DVD and educational programs and let them watch it on the go. Life was bliss when i started my blogging journey. Back then, i know nuts about monetization and search engine optimization. All i did was to write what comes to mind. I did tags, i had fun socializing, i commented on other blogger's blogs and all that jazz. Sigh… i have not done any of that for more than two years. I dont even visit blogs these days since i have all my favorite ones on my RSS feed. I'd rather read them all from one place, saves me time. As for commenting, that's a joke. Ever since i got to know what SEO is all about, i forged ahead with my newfound knowledge and never turned back.Without SEO knowledge, i wont be able to gain search engine traffic. To me, search engine traffic is everything. When people comes to my blog through the search engine, they are here to look for something. And if what i wrote isnt providing them with what they are looking for, chances are they will click on the links around my post to find out more. In order to do that, my landing pages have to be optimized for the search engines. And i'm darned good at that. Unfortunately for many of my friends, they have a hard time understanding all these. Why are you writing Aff opps for free?

If you are a paidpostie, i'm sure you would have signed up to write ads for SS. Nope, i'm not gonna state what SS stands for as i dont want my ass fried. Dont question, just read on. Well, if you are writing for SS, then you would have noticed some aff opps which pays you on a perconversion basis. Let me be very frank with you. I wont be bothered with these kinda opps. Why? Let me explain.These advertisers are cheapskates who want nothing except for a free link back to their site. They dont even want to pay you the miserable 5 bucks in exchange for 1 to 3 links, depending on how cheap those buggers are. And then, you may say, "But they are going to pay me $13 bucks per conversion worr…. that's good mah…." Ya, ya, ya…. get real. How are you going to track your conversions? If you want to have a go at earning from affiliate sales, you might as well go get yourself an Amazon affiliate account or Ebay affiliate account (plenty more out there). Go select whatever product you wanna pimp on your blog, slap the codes in, and praise it sky high lah.
