PR stayed

I never expected the PR for this blog to stay. But, what the heck. A PR 1 is still a PR1, lol. But i’m also a bit sad over two PR3 being downgraded to PR2, sobbbbb. Though all these blogs arent for anything else apart from adsense, it still hurts mah. I’m so not kicking anymore blogs for paidposts. I’m just sticking to what i started out with since 2006. Five dead blogs is just far too much for me to bear. And i can really expect a huge drop in income earnings till the next PR update. And sigh…… that’s like another 3 to 4 months from now. And the current PR update hasnt even stabilised (i hope so, pray for it to change for the better…. pray harder…..)

  • Blog suicide

There are still so many poor clueless souls out there who still thinks that writing paidposts is the best way to make money online. Oh, dont doubt that. I’ve made a lot of money writing paidposts since the trend started way back in 2006. But what they dont know is that they will commit blog suicide this way. In other words, their blogs will lose theirs pr and eventually drop off Google’s search engine. That’s it. But there are a lot of smart alecs out here that will continue to churn out blog after blog just so to continue with this money making trend. Ahhhh…. i’ve done all that you are thinking of before. You dont call me a paidpost queen for nothing.

  • Need new template

Much as i like this template, i cant seem to widen the main content area to fit the flickr photos better. Gotta find a new one for this blog. Not that i have much time to hang around this feed blog, lol. It’s also good to note that it’s got some kinda authority in Google’s eyes. The thing is i dont know if it’ll go back to a big fat zero or not. Not that i care also.

  • This blog has PR1

Happy, happy, happy. For a blog that isnt updated at all, Google has blessed it with a PR1. Thank you, thank you, thank you very, Google. Hope you wont take it away and make my joy a shortlived one. Now, there’s nothing much that i can do with a PR1. Wont even help with backlinking, lol. Anyway, it’s better to see a PR1 than nothing at all.

So, what am i supposed to blog here. It’s only a collection of a few of my blog feeds. Well, maybe i should just crap here every once in a while. Like, talk about the dreadful weather. Rant about my in-laws and IBS. What i ate for lunch and things i did. Sigh…. the list is endless. I’ll sleep on this longer. See what happens next….

So, what do you think. I should rejoice, right. Something to be happy about, right. I just hope i get a 20c click from this blog everyday. That will make me very happy happy happy. I have to leave the house again in a few more minutes. Gotta hand some Chinese New Year items to my Mom. She was very happy last week as i took her shopping for new clothes. Parenting Is A full-time Job

My neighbor must think i have far too much time on hand each day. He offered me a job at his accounting firm yesterday, lol. I told him i may not be working, but my hands are tied with two naughty boys to take care of. Parenting is a full-time job. I thanked him for […] [Link]

This Grand Canyon Helicopter Wedding is worth checking out

The new school term left me with not much time to myself. Sometimes, i even felt as if i've neglected Malcolm a bit. As i'm seldom home after i've sent them both off to school, Malcolm has to stay at home with his grandma and Grandpa till i'm home with Gordon around 7pm. Depending on his mood, he can be pretty whiny or simply overjoyed when he sees us walking in from the gates. If he's had a nap, then his mood will be better. If not, i'll have to tend to two tired and cranky kids till bedtime. Being a Mom means i cant be tired, i cant be cranky, i cant take a rest, i cant even be sick, lol. Geeee….. i must have been made from some super parenting material!!!!Last night, after the kids have gone to bed, i sat dwn at my computer and wanted to write a few posts. Sigh…. my tired mind produced zero content for my blogs. So, i gave up and started going through my emails instead. I came across this Grand Canyon Helicopter Wedding my friend sent me earlier. She is getting married soon and wanted something unique for her wedding. I emailed her back telling her to go ahead with it. Am looking forward to her wedding photos. If you are planning for your wedding, you may want to check out the link i left here in this post. You deserve the best, you know :) [Link]

    Done with CNY shopping yet?

Chinese New year is just a few short days away. Are you done with all your shopping? Me, i only bought some tees for my kids. I tried on a few blouses at Esprit yesterday but didnt like any of them. I still have a few more days to do my last-minute shopping. If not, will have to wear my old clothes for Chinese New Year, LOL!!!! Frankly speaking, who has the time to go shopping these days. I shop [Link]

Grand Canyon Helicopter Wedding - MUST CHECK OUT!!!!

I usually dont come back home after i sent the kids off to school. Today's an exception. I'm feeling a bit nauseated today. Must be coming down with something. I just want to rest instead of driving around in the sweltering heat. In a way, i'm glad that i'm not wearing any makeup. I have a string feeling that everything will melt and slide off my face in this kind of hot and humid weather. I'm [Link]

Is Bariatic Surgery An Effective Weight Loss Method?

My SIL brought a few cans of CNY cookies for my kids. It’s their favorite seaweed cookies. I love them too. I’m not doing any baking this year as i still havent bought an oven. My friend recommended the Teka oven. She says it’s one of the best she’s ever used. Well, i just hope […] [Link]

    Red Tees

It’s the weekend before Chinese New year and i still havent taken the kids out shopping, lol. Too tired to do anything much. Anyway, i’ve been checking out a few of my favorite stores for good deals. Unfortunately, i still dont see any good deal of the day being offered. Everything is still on full […] [Link]

    Tile Flooring For Kitchen

I went to my girlfriend’s house last week. She made a really good decision by having tile flooring installed to her wet kitchen. Before that, her husband suggested mosaic. I told her we have mosaic installed at our kitchen and it’s very difficult to get grime out when cleaning the floor. I wish my MIL […] [Link]

    Gordon's first baby-tooth-out day!!!

Gordon had his very first lower front tooth yanked out by yours truly just now. He's been very brave for the past few weeks. Didnt even whine about the discomfort at all though he kept telling me to take him to the "teeth doctor". I took him there when i first spotted his new sprouting tooth on the first week of school. The dentist told me it's alright and to let it drop on its own. I tried pulling it a ouple of times by hand for the past few days but the tooth refuse to come off. Today, it was especially loose. So, i fast fast wound a strand of fine yarn round it and gave it a pull. It didnt come off but i guess it loosened it enough for me to pull it out by hand. Me so brave, horrrr…. Too bad i dont have any Davidoff cigars with me. If not, i hand some out and celebrate Gordon's first baby-tooth-out day, lol. Errrr…. what am i supposed to do with it? Keep ah? [Link]

It's been a long month for me

Week 4Gordon has improved a lot this week. He's more willing to stay put in line when at the basketball court. Just like i told the school, i guessed he's already surveyed most of the school surroundings. It only takes time for him to settle down. Well, in time to come, he will be like the rest of the kids. I'm really looking forward to the day Gordon can be more independent and take care of himself and his things. I've been accompanying him during recess for a week now and he's more cheerful. The reason he doesnt want to eat any of the food i prepared for him as he wants to buy food from the canteen stalls. Though he has money with him, he didnt have the confidence to walk up to the stalls and buy food when i wasnt with him. He's can now do that on his own, but still needs a little help.I will continue to sit with him during recess till i feel he can remember the whole routine of "go to the toilet-wash hands-buy food-eat-wash hands-line up back to class". I've helped him make a few friends too. The other boys are more steady and i've told them to help me keep an eye on Gordon when i'm not around. His cousin will turn up every now and then. They're both in different classes.I now go up to his class before school's over to help him take down his homework and show him how to pack his bags. I can feel why his teacher requested that i do so as it really takes up a lot of her time and the rest of the boys have to wait for her. My SIL asked me to help her fetch her kid home too. I agreed as i feel it's good for Gordon as he can be closer to his cousin brother. He needs a playmate his age other than Malcolm.I just hope his cousin isnt whiny when school's over. If not, i'll have to get his mom to gaotim him herself. How to handle him when it can be difficult to even get Gordon to go into the car. Too much temptations from the stalls. Well, i've gotta go check out this healthcare job search my friend told me about earlier. More later, ya. [Link]

    Gordon loves Maths

Gordon's favorite subject is Maths. His class teacher told me he's especially attentive in class if the day has Maths. He can sit down guai-guai and listen to her and also work on his Maths Activity book. Good to know that the teacher found where his strength lies. Who knows, he may become a Maths Genius one day and make the school proud of him, right. PATIENCE…… [Link]

How To Get Rid Of Love Handles Fast

It’s almost the end of the month and the silais are still telling the same old weight loss stories as they wait for their kids at the stalls near the school. At the same time, they are also still eating and eating and eating non-stop each day, lol. How to lose weight this way, utelmi. […] [Link]

    Send Me More Google Love….

I’ll be out of the house in another half and hour’s time and wont be back till at least 7pm. I seldom get time to sit down, do keyword research and start new niche blogs. I dont want prenatal multivitamins EVER!!!!

Today is another busy day for me. Usual lah. Send kid to school-recess-pick him up routine. My day starts at 8am and ends around 10pm. And if i choose to blog a bit at night, i may go to bed two hours later. I hope my kid adjusts well in his new environment soon. If not, the Mader is sure to conk out fast. My friend was just asking me which prenatal multivitamin i took last time. Geeee…. i dont ever want to take another prenatal vitamin. It only means another baby…. CHOIIIIIIISSS [Link]

    Bought your CNY clothes yet?

This is the time of the year i see friends start scrambling for the next best quick weight loss program. As Chinese New Year usually comes about a month or two after Christmas, many of them are still fat from too much food and partying, lol. Me, i seldom eat when i drink. I only drink beer these days, and also the occasional red wine. Fat chance me getting fat. But if i overdose on beer, i may [Link]

    Another Balance Transfer Is Ineveitable

I dare not open my credit card statement now. I have every reason to belief i’ll faint when i see it, lol. Each bill now has a nice round 4 figure attached to it. Damn, how to pay, utelmi. Looks like i’ll have to perform a balance transfer on a few bills now. Let’s see […] [Link]

    Samm goes back to school

Oh, yes, you heard me right. My kid goes to school, the blogger mom goes with him too. After weeks of observing my kid's behaviour, somehow, the school recognized he needs extra care. Though he had no choice but to go to school like every other kid his age, he's still very much a baby compared to them. It's gonna take longer for him to learn all the things that his peers take for granted.I now have permanent access granted so that i can go into the school compound. So, the moment i reach school, i'll lead him to his row at the basketball court. Then, i go to the teachers room to help him pass up his homework and speak with all his teachers. At 3pm, i go back to the school to eat with him. I use that precious 20 minutes to make sure he eats, drinks and goes to the toilet. At the same time, i help him make friends. At around 6pm, i'll go back to his class to help him take down his days' homework and pack his bag. He'll learn eventually, but the teacher does not have time on hand to do that for him everyday. Though very tiring, i dont mind it at all cos he's my kid. To me, helping my kid build social skills, self-esteem and confidence is much more important than academic achievement. That'll come later. As i get to leave a few minutes earlier than everyone else, i also avoid all the traffic jam. After his bath and dinner, it's time to check on his homework and make him finish up as much as possible. He's slow and needs lots of coaxing. If it's still early, i'll do some revision with him. I no longer have much time to blog at night. So, forget about asking me stuffs like where to get the best eczema treatment online.Public school authorities arent all that bad. I've heard lots of things about them being unhelpful and such. Keep the lansi-ness to yourself if you want to work out an amicable solution with them. They are helpful if you address your needs well. So far, i'm happy with the arrangement. Hope my kid has a wonderful time in school. The blogger mom is not far away. Follow me at Starbucks, Kopitiam Junction, ……. [Link]

    Wanna renovate our toilet

The lever on our wc broke last week. Can you imagine how cumbersome it is to go to the toilet, and flushing your poo manually? It's really cumbersome as it takes many many buckets of water to wash it all down the sewage. Our handyman is out of town and it took him four freaking days to fix it for us. We had the lever replaced. WHAT A RELIEF, LOL!!!! Hubby asked me why his mom didnt ask the handy [Link]

    Chasing pigeons

Week 3 - Day 1Gordon gets distracted.rather easily. The basketball court has lots of pigeons flying around. As the kids tends to leave food all over the place after recess, the pigeons will fly down to peck at the food every now and then. They are used to seeing human beings and therefore, not afraid.During recess this noon, Gordon saw some pigeons down an the ground, got excited and chased them. I wasnt there to witness it but my friend told me it's quite a sight. The discipline teachers there had a fine time getting him back to his place. Oh well, i have nothing to say about a 6.5year old chasing pigeons, ok. If i were my kid and i find that fun, i'd do it too. He'll learn not to do that after a few warnings. PATIENCE!!!! [Link]

The itch on my hand is back

I'm trying to recall what i ate today. Well, let me see. I had Wantan Meen for breakfast. Then, after sending Gordon to school, i had Chau Fun and Tong Sui with hubby at the stalls near the school. After that, i came home and had some porridge that MIL cooked. Now, i'm munching on a packet of Mamee Noodles Snack. In a short while, i'll have to leave to go pick my kid up. I dont have to go this [Link]

    Causes Of Adult Acne

Imbalanced hormone is one of the major causes of adult acne. I had a bad breakout last July and the ordeal lasted a few months. Retin-A Review

During my last bout of acne outbreak, a friend suggested that i use tretinoin to treat it. I’ve used Retin-A with good results before but i hate the side effects that it produces. Tata FB

I'm laying off FB for a while. There are some creeps there who love to pass unnecessary judgments over my updates. Who are they to do that. Anyway, FB is also taking up a lot of my productive hours. I might as well set up a few more niche blogs for residual income. I just stumble onto this strivectin reviews site and it gave me some ideas as to what i should do next. Well, FB kakis. So long for [Link]

    PC Over-heating

My pc is giving me major headaches again. It's not the first time the damn thing shuts down whenever i run the player or some other apps. And when i restart it, it'll beep and show some over-heating message. I'm now itching to buy another. Well, let's just see what's the damage like this time. If it's not worth fixing, then it's time to say bye-bye to it. I'll send it over tomorrow as i need to head to the pharmacy nearby to look for treatment for rheumatoid arthritis. Let's see what the technicians there have to say :( [Link]

    Headache

Just got back from my kid’s school. The scorching heat gave me a headache and my eyes are also somewhat out of focus right now. Went to yank out my contacts and am wearing my new rimless specs now. With such hot weather, all the fat will also melt from one’s body la, horr. Need […] [Link]

    Tired and stressed out

My eyes are seeing things differently today. It's like the "power" is a bit off. I think it's due to lack of sleep lately. The new school term and all-new routine is killing me. I cant complaint, nor can i rant about it. I just have to take my daily grind with a deep breath each day. The walking up and down is also taking a toll on my poor knees. Geeee…. better check out some of these joint [Link]

Recess time - Gordon is not eating nor drinking

Week 2 - Day 5After the past five schooldays, parents arent allowed into the school compound anymore. Once you've let your kid into the school gates, you have to stand outside. If you need to talk to the teacher, you'll have to get a pass from the security guard. What i noticed is that, for the whole week, my kid isnt eating during recess. I'm okay with the "not eating" part cos he goes to school with a full stomach. But it's the "not drinking" part that bugs me. It's afternoon session and the weather is so hot. I've spoken with the school authorities and i was told to produce a letter from his doctor in order for me to be there to make sure he eats and drink during recess. And yes, i'm going to do just that. Let's see how things go next week. All these running up and down is giving me hormonal acne, aitelyu. [Link]

    My Facebook Updates

I logged onto my FB and the first update i read was that of a friend’s, looking for nice boys clothes for her two twin baby boys. Age spots?

My friend's been complaining about those brown spots on her face. She said they keep surfacing and nothing can stop them from appearing. I asked her if those are pigmentation or age spots but she is unsure. Well, i do have a few stubborn brown spots on my face too. Nothing seems to make them go away. Why bother… it's only a few spots. Not that i'll die from it or what, lol. [Link]

    I see spots

My mood's pretty screwed these few days. I guess i must be PMS-ing again, lol. Nowadays, whenever i feel down, i have to pause and think if my period is about to come or not. Dare not lash out unnecessarily. Moreover, i see a few zits on my face too. Sure sign i'm PMS-ing, lol. Ok, i go apply some magic acne spot treatment on them now. Hope they disappear overnight *they'd better, gggggrrrrrr…….*. [Link]

    Homework woes

Week 2 - Day 4Looks like my parenting duties extends all the way to the school. Gordon, being one happy-go-lucky kid that lives in a world of his own, he cannot understand that the school he's attending now is not the same as the Kindy he went to for the last three years. The teachers at his Kindy will make sure he doesnt leave anything behind and will place all his homework together for easy access. This is because my kid cannot tell me he has homework nor what homework to pass up the following day. They will also take his workbooks from his bag the following day for marking. Now, Gordon has to get help from his friend and class teacher to help him write down in his homework notebook. On my side, i have also taken down the phone numbers of a few mothers in his class. Each night, i have to sms them to check for homework. I just pray they dont get tired of me so soon. Last night, after a round of Sms and phonecalls, i found that Gordon has one missing activity book. I believe this is just one of those extra duties in store for me.This afternoon, after making sure he's safely at his place at the basketball court where all the kids congregate before heading to their respective classes, i went up to the Teacher's Room to have a word with his class teacher. Thank god he left his Activity book behind. It's all my fault as i've forgotten to write his name down on it. It's a new book that's just been handed to him the day before. I havent even wrapped it yet. Oh man….. i still have a few more waiting to be wrapped.I then went back to the gates to wait till i see him walk up to his class. Then only i realised in my haste to pack his schoolbag last night, i forgot to write his name on two other workbooks for today. And so, i went to his class again and did just that. I also took the opportunity to talk to the boy seated next to him and asked him to help out Gordon whenever possible. Like, help him pass up his homework to the teacher, write his homework down for him in the notebook, remind him to drink water and to take his food and tumbler down with him to the canteen during recess, and try to get him to sit with them whenever possible.I know it's a lot on the other boy, but i try my best to help my kid in school. It's also my duty as a parent to talk to his teachers as much as possible so that i can keep track of his progress. I want them to understand more about my kid and that he's just a little different from other kids his age. It's a long process and it's only just begun. Let's see what's instore for me tonight when i check his bag. Hope i can locate all the missing pieces of his daily jigsaw puzzle. [Link]

    No title

All those homework phonecalls must come in just when i'm putting my kids to bed. I cant help but answer the call as it's important for both parties involved. The boys are already very cranky as i was late myself. Many factors la. I only have two hands handling two fightercocks on my own. Bathe la, change la, wash la, milk la, chocolate milk la, horlicks la, cry la, fight la, this la, that la. [Link]

    Cane mark on thigh

Week 2 - Day 3Gordon came home with a cane mark on his left thigh. Teacher say he naughty worr. Cut up the eraser with his ruler and throw all over the place. Sharpen his pencil take the shavings and put on his friend's head. Also refuse to write down the homework for the day in his notebook. 2nd week only, sigh…. what's in for me tomorrow? [Link]

You say she deserves a dose of my laser tongue or not

This is to the knnmcb parent/guardian/driver who stop your car parallel to the school, get down to walk your kid into the school compound, stand at the door and talk to the teacher for like 10 minutes, pick the other kid up, walk the kid back to the car, fiddle with your kid's face/hair/bag/tumbler for another 10 minutes, before adjusting your blardy cow-dung face at the rear mirror before driving off. Every fcuking day also lidis. Mahai, you think you are the only one who has to drop and pick kids up issit. The rest of the cars all have to line up behind you waiting for god-knows-how-long issit. You nonid to work issit. You own the fcuking road issit. You maderfarker brainless bitch. End of rant. [Link]

A typical weekday in Samm's life

My typical day starts at 7.30am when my phone alarm beeps. My kids usually wake up together with me. The moment they jump off the bed, chaos reigns. Malcolm tends to cry and whine a lot. Dunno why. Maybe it's because he's hungry, or simply wants full attention from me. Whatever Gordon touches, he'll make a grab for it. Gordon will of course get mad and retaliates; and the dog fight begins even before i get the chance to leave the room or get off the bed.I will then quickly prepare breakfast for them as i gotta send Gordon off to his tutor's at 9am. I can then opt to go home and get Malcolm ready for school, or take him go buy grocery items nearby the house. Once home, i'll get myself ready and prepare his lunch pack to take to school. That kid still forgets to eat his food during recess. No idea why as he cannot tell me. I just have to make sure he goes to school with a full stomache.I'll have to go pick him up at 10.40am. Once home, i'll bathe, change him into his school uniform and get his lunch ready for him. MIL may or may not cook lunch. She may buy something back from the nearby coffeeshops instead. I leave the house at 12pm sharp. Drops Malcolm off at the Kindy, then send Gordon to school. I will then hang around the school entrance until i feel it's safe to leave. That'll be around 1pm+. Reason was during the first week, there was once he strolled right to the gate and no one noticed. If i had not pulled him back, he may have walked out the gates and… *go figure*I give Gordon 20 cents so that he can learn to buy things from the school canteen. The girl operating the stall happens to be an old schoolmate of mine. I took Gordon to her during the first week and told her to help him decide what he can buy with that one 20 cents coin. On the third day, he showed the kacang puteh man the coin, took his kacang puteh and put the coinback into his pockets, lol. I was there to guide him that day. Hope he remembers the steps next time.Once the kids are in school, i'll go back to my Mom's with my laptop. Here, i can blog in peace and quiet. No point going home as Malcolm comes home at around 4pm. What can i blog in 2 hours time. I gotta work lah, ok. Moreover, it's going to be really difficult to leave the house when it's time to go pick Gordon up. My in-laws have to help keep an eye on him. As i've paid a montly parking fee at the parking lot behind the school, i dont have to worry not being able to find a parking space when i go pick my kid up from school around 5.30pm. I'm usually back home by 7pm. Then, it's the same old routine of bathe-change-food. At 8pm or so, i'll go through Gordon's schoolbag and check for the day's homework. After that, i'll do some light revision with him. I'd love to help him with his English and BM homework if possible so that he get's ample time to do his Chinese homework at his Tutor's. But with Malcolm around, nothing gets done wan lah. Then, i'll help him pack his books according to the time-table for the next day. NO TV, and then it's milk time and off to bed latest by 9.30pm.I'm also half dead by then and will usually sleep with them at that time. But if i can wake up early enough say around 5 or 6am or so, i can still squeeze in some blog updating. I promised myself i gotta get at least 8 hours sleep each day. Been a night-owl for far too many years. Well, now that you know. My days are now filled with parenting/childcare activities and blogging activities. So, dont disturb me unless absolutely necessary. I've got a target to hit and it's almost the mid of January….. [Link]

    New rimless spectacles

Just got back from the Optical shop. Had to replace my spectacles frame as it's gotten too loose to stay on my face. As parents, we cannot afford to have expensive spectacle frames when we have active kids. The moment they grab hold of it, it's time to say bye-bye to it, lol. As my power is still the same, i dont see the point in getting a new pair of spectacles. Instead, i told them to replace the frame with the rimless type using the same prescriptive lens from the old frame. That prescription lens cost me a bomb last time. Dont waste, hoh. Money hard to come by these days. If i were to make a new pair, god knows how many hundred bucks i had to vomit out. For rm60, i get a whole new pair of spectacles. And it's oh-so-light too compared to the frame type. Bliss. Pray Malcolm doesnt get hold of it again. *touch wood* [Link]

    Another long week ahead

Ok, i gotta stop staring at these hot Christian Louboutin platform sandals and go over to my sis. Malcolm is over there and Gordon wants to go play with the Wii. He's already had his dinner. The moment we come home, i just need to bathe the kids. Then, it's bedtime and another long week begins. Hope it'll be better and i can come home for my me-time. I miss it soooooo much. Parenting is so much fun, bleh….. [Link]

Dar…. buy me a car, ok

In a way, i think it's good to not own anything at all. When i had my own cars last time, i had to think of renewing my car insurance, road tax, maintenance and such. Now, i only top up the petrol tank every now and then. If i were to buy myself a car next time, i'll have start looking for the cheapest car insurance all over again. I think it's better to get hubby to buy me one. Then, i can leave [Link]
